In the month in which we celebrate Portugal, we also celebrate what moulds us: the sea. They say that the Portuguese have the sea in their bones, but it's in their blood that it runs: 70 per cent water, 30 per cent longing. The sea has taught us to lose our way and to dream of worlds that even maps never dared to imagine.
