In the month in which we celebrate Portugal, we also celebrate what moulds us: the sea. They say that the Portuguese have the sea in their bones, but it's in their blood that it runs: 70 per cent water, 30 per cent longing. The sea has taught us to lose our way and to dream of worlds that even maps never dared to imagine. It is this salty memory, this Atlantic heritage, that runs through every page of Oceans of Life - an ode to water, to travelling and to the Portuguese soul.
